Try typing jewellery mannequin into Google or eBay. There are literally hundreds of people selling these now.
I was introduced to the company that manufactures these about 18 months ago and arranged for them to meet an importer of this type of product. This company now does 70% of their export business with the UK.
But here’s the good bit…………lots of UK entrepreneurs making ‘that little bit extra’ at margins upto 70% which is unheard of in most retail circles. Obviously the lower down the ladder the less the margin.
The manufacturer is looking for contacts in other countries now, so if anyone is interested let me know and I will pass on your details. They also manufacture a range of other household ornaments and fancy goods but jewellery mannequins are by far the most popular product at the moment.
